Belvidere, IL - Northwoods Care Centre, 2250 Pearl St.  Maralee Gray, Clinical Nurse Liason for Northwoods Care Centre, presented a seminar at the Center for Sight & Hearing in Rockford, IL on Thursday, September 9th.  The topic was on high blood pressure and Maralee provided information on:

• The definition of hypertension
• Risk factors
• Causes
• Treatment options
• Testing
• Diagnosis

The seminars are provided for those who are deaf or have some degree of hearing loss and are also presented in sign language.  This last seminar is the fourth in a series that Northwoods has provided at the Center over the past year.  Though this seminar was scheduled for 30 minutes, Maralee stayed another half hour and answered the many questions that the audience had.  Northwoods would like to thank the Center for Sight & Hearing for providing a forum that allows Northwoods Care Centre to continue it's education of the public and those in need of health care information.  If you have any questions regarding this seminar or past seminars, please call 815-544-0358
